Released on October 15, 1996, Christmas Eve and Other Stories is Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s debut—and the first chapter of the band’s famed “Christmas trilogy.” Blending rock energy with orchestral drama, it became one of the best-known modern holiday albums and earned 3× Platinum certification in 2011.
The live piano accompaniment that plays with the album was composed and performed by PianoDisc recording artist, composer, and piano virtuoso, Jarrod Radnich. Trans-Siberian Orchestra founder and producer Paul O’Neill brought Radnich in to perform with the orchestra, which was the inspiration behind this new release.
