"Spider-Man (2002) Main Title" anchors the collection, its driving momentum carried entirely by the keys rather than a full orchestra. The "Into the Spider-Verse Main Theme" and the "2099 Theme" make for some of the album's biggest transformations, their electronic-heavy originals translated into something the piano alone can carry. "Birth of Sandman" translates especially well to piano, its slow, searching melody unfolding one phrase at a time.
"Rooftop Kiss" and "We're Best Friends" offer a warmer, more personal side, trading spectacle for the relationships at the heart of the stories. The No Way Home selections, from "Arachnoverture" to "Exit Through the Lobby," close the album by drawing together musical threads from across the franchise.
A fitting choice for fans of the films, or anyone who wants to hear these themes with nothing standing between the melody and the ear.
